The Scoop: Topgolf has announced the proposed site for its new Rogers location.
The document filed Oct. 19 for the proposed location by engineering and design firm Crafton Tull in Rogers. Revisions by the committee are due back to the developer by Nov. 1, and the site plan will be on the planning commission hands at a later date.
This comes five months after the company announced it planned its first Arkansas development.
The rendering demonstrates that the climate-controlled hitting bays in the two-story building will be facing north, with people hitting golf balls toward the Walmart AMP. The building will also include a restaurant, bar and private event space
The design shows a parking lot with 370 spaces as well as bike racks with parking for 20 bicycles.
The approximately 11-acre site will include three retention ponds, each with an aerator fountain. Topgolf is leasing the land from Rogers developer Hunt Ventures located on South J.B. Hunt Drive (headed up by philanthropist Johnelle Hunt). The majority of the property is used now for parking for patrons attending concerts and events at the Walmart AMP but do not worry as Hunt ventures has announced it will be building a possible parking garage for more info on this subscribe to be notified when we publish.
