Rogers’ Cabela’s Getting $2 Million Renovation & Rebranding as Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World

The Scoop:

Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is the new brand taking over the Cabela’s retail location in Rogers. The renovation should be completed by the end of the year and will be taken place in stages to help maintain the store open. The Whole project is expected to cost Bass Pro Shops upwards of $2 million.

The Story:

The new signage will highlight iconic outdoor brands Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s and Tracker boats.

The $2 million renovation will bring those brands together under one roof of a rebranded retail center called Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in return creating an expanded boat center and marine and fishing centers. The plan represents the first significant retail location upgrade since Bass Pro Shops acquired Cabela’s this past fall.

A new two-story glass storefront to the right of the main entrance will flood natural light into the store and help highlight the newly expanded boat center and marine and fishing centers according to Bass Pro Shops.

In addition, the freshwater fishing department will expand the fishing footprint and assortment by 85%. The Apparel sections will not be left behind as its space and assortment is growing nearly 40% which larger than the current layout.

Renovations are expected to be completed later this year and are taking place in stages to allow the store to stay open.
